Just back from a road trip to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, the country's largest. Even with a Fairbanks start, it's still a 9-hour haul to get to that crazy-beautiful spot on the planet. For another take on visiting National Parks by road, read the recent New York Times article Ten Months, 45 National Parks, 11 Rules by Jeremy Cronon.

Love the video! You look great, glad to hear Colin is with you. Too many fires in the lower 48. Stay safe all of you.

Thanks, Kathie! I intentionally kept the hat and glasses on for that because I didn't think anyone would want to see a scruffy, campground Cat Herder!

I am pretty sure Ranger Kathie can make the trip out. She doesn't like to miss much! Let us know when she needs to be out your way. She is having a slow year, so this will help. Thanks!

Read the NYT article earlier and thought about you. Guess it wasn't a problem driving the speed limit on that trip! One place I want to visit again!
