It seems so strange to be traversing these parts from the road, not the air. We can see Glacier NP off in the distance as we make our way north out of Great Falls, yesterday we saw some Rocky Mountaineer checkpoints from the ground, in a couple more days we'll start up the AlCan Highway. Our challenges have been few so far--which is a good thing--but we are admittedly recalling past Parkwest trips with all of you: redistributing Richard's wine for Customs, hoping Randy brought the right paperwork for his rifle, flying with names like Caribou 1 and Tlingit 4. We're missing all of you! |
