This year's Monarch butterfly count looks promising, despite the many challenges confronted by these amazing travelers. And Glacier National Park continues to lose its namesake feature: glaciers! The takeaway for me is: get out there and enjoy this stuff while you can. And Parkwest is doing just that in the case of the Monarch butterfly, with another trip in early March to see these guys in the oyamel fir forests of the Mexican highlands. Join us if you can!
