A cold, grey day in Florida didn't keep this motley crew of Parkwest pilots from having lunch at Pappie's Grill at Winter Haven airport (GIF). Foodie Charles shocked and awed us with his selection: a foot-long hot dog with onion rings!
It's funny to be in the Sunshine State and see everyone cloaked up in their sweaters, coats and--in Marilyn's case--hat and gloves!. Looking forward to sunnier skies and warmer days in Mexico with the Hollowells (among others) next month!!

On that date you could have dropped in on Atlanta's zombie snow apocalypse and witnessed the freeways clogged with abandoned cars. Stephanie spent two nights sleeping in her clothes at a hotel in Marietta because she could not get home, and she was one of the lucky ones. I had been looking forward to spending that next weekend in Lakeland, FL for my annual recurrent training, but I had to postpone the trip.

What a wild winter for everyone! Pray that our Mexico-bound pilots can get out West for a 10-night trip of sun and fun!
