You gotta love an airplane with windshield wipers!

Everyone seems to be most appalled by Collin's dorm room. I think it has a certain monastic charm about it!

Just learned that they are posting him and the airplane in McGrath (population 346) for about a week. Stay tuned for updates!!

Great to hear from Collin "up in Alaska". Population 346??? By the time the week is over, everybody knows everybody in town. Him and the airplane, no other pilots?

Yes, the dorm, it reminds me of reading under the blanket with a torch and you are hopeing that the teachers won't find out that you don't sleep ... LOL ...

Boy oh boy, what a great adventure. My office job sounds pretty boring I must admit.

Thanks, Barbara! Collin is in McGrath (the village of 346 people) until next Friday. He flew out there with the plane, another pilot, 8 smokejumpers and all their gear. They've boosted the population, at least temporarily!

That looks like the room I had in the staff house in Siberia. I hope the people there speak English. What's that striped stick in the cockpit? Is that a gear shift?
